When you check the Save Ink option, headers are made to stand out solely by their font size and weight. When you uncheck this option, the main headers also have a "colored" background, and take slightly more room. If you are going to actually print your SOAP Notes on paper, as opposed to printing them to a PDF printer, you might prefer the Save Ink option.
When you check the Save Paper option, everything is printed slightly smaller, including the body pictures. If you have difficulty reading small print, you might choose to uncheck this Save Paper option. If you are printing your SOAP Notes for the benefit of someone who is only interested in knowing that you do have SOAP Notes, but does not quite care about the content, you might prefer using the Save Paper option.
