Customize WinCity SOAP Notes to Make It Uniquely Yours
You can customize WinCity SOAP Notes in many different
ways to make it fit your needs:
- In most places, you can type in whatever you would
like.
For instance, if you are working on horses rather than humans, you could
type hoof where a body part is expected, even if hoof is not
contained in the drop down list.
- You can customize most of the drop down lists that
appear throughout the software.
For instance, if you are working on horses rather than humans, you could
change the drop-down lists to contain horse body parts such as fetlock,
hocks, hoof, muzzle, withers, etc...
- On many screens you can select what information
you want to be shown.
For instance, the Palpation screen has two main parts: (1) muscle
lists and (2) one or more body pictures. If you are not going to use the
muscle lists for a specific session, you can get rid of them so that they
don't clutter your screen. You can also get rid of the body pictures if you
want.
The same principle applies to more detailed information: you can for
instance remove the field that would allow you to collect information about
your client's race.
- You can determine which field you want to see in
newly created sessions.
For instance, if your patients are all adults, you might want to remove the
Growth and Development section of all new notes. Of course,
pre-existing notes will not be affected. If you suddenly have to provide
care for a child, you will be able to add that section back as needed.
For most customizations, different employees can have
different values. For instance, each employee can choose their own set of
commonly used modalities. Most of the employee-level customizations can be found
under Practice > Employees > Employee Preferences.
Some customizations affect each and every employee. For
instance, whether or not a Race entry field is included for new clients
is a practice-wide setting.
There are many more customization options, that you
will discover if you explore the Practice tab.
