WinCity assumes that you have a Practice with one or more Employees providing health care services to Clients or Patients. WinCity calls these good people working with you 'employees' in the colloquial sense of the term. They can actually have any type of employment relationship with your practice.
Employees often provide health care to patients over multiple Sessions. For instance, most patients go see their Physical Therapists multiple times to get treatment for a single injury. To keep things organized, we group sessions into Cases. Each time a patient comes to your Practice with a different issue, create a new Case. This might seem overkill now, but it will make your life a lot easier when the same patient comes to see you to treat different ailments over the course of many years.
WinCity allows you to keep track of health care providers who refer clients to you. We creatively call them Referring Health Care Providers.
Most of the data you record is stored in a file called a SOAP Book.
All you need to remember is this:
- A Practice has one or more Employees. Click on the Practice tab, to access your practice's information. Then, click on the Employees tab to see your employees' information.
- A Client or Patient can have multiple Cases and each case can have multiple Sessions. Click on the Clients or Patients tab to access your clients' information. Then, click on the Cases tab to access the current client's cases. Then, click on the Sessions tab to see the current case's sessions.
